First of all welcome to Kortpress and thank you very much for trying out our Pass and Card creator. In this manual we will walk you through the steps to create your own personalised passes. We assume if you are here you have looked at the Kortpress website and registered an account with us. Once registered you will be sent an email to activate your account, select the 'activate your account now' link, fill in your details and you are ready to begin.
It is important to understand that this manual is split into multiple sections and must be completed in the order displayed below.
You need an Apple Developer Account to create Apple Pass Type Certificates. Additionally you need the following information to create an Apple Pass in Kortpress:
Log in to your Apple Developer Console as an administrator and select Certificates, Identifiers & Profiles
Select Identifiers from the left menu and click the + button to add a new Identifier. Select Pass Type IDs from the list of Identifier and click next. Fill in the Pass Type ID Description field and assign a new unique Identifier. Confirm your entries and click Continue. Verify your name and Identifier and then register your Pass Type ID.
Select your created Pass Type ID from the list. Create a Certificate Signing Request: (CSR, Apple developer) and upload it by selecting Choose File.
Download your new certificate. Double-click the certificate to add it to your keychain. Right-click on your certificate in Keychain Access App and export it as a .p12 file. Add a password to your certificate. You will need to remember this password to upload it to Kortpress later.
Create a Google Account for your business or use an existing account. You need the following information to create a Google Pass in Kortpress:

If the login process was successful, proceed as described in the following instructions: https://developers.google.com/pay/passes/guides/get-started/basic-setup/get-access-to-rest-api. Step 3 3.Use OAuth 2.0 for your Server to Server application can be ignored.
Remember the Issuer-ID of your account, the service account email address (ends with @<your_domain>.iam.gserviceaccount.com) and the JSON file with private key. You will receive all of the above information from step 3.
Enter your service account email address and IssuerId in the fields. Upload the .json file into Kortpress.
You will need an Apple Developer Account and the following information to send push notifications in Kortpress:
Log in to your Apple Developer Console as a administrator and select Certificates, Identifiers & Profiles.
Select Keys and add a new key of type Apple Push Notification Service (APNs). After creating a key name, click Register to create the APNs certificates.
Download the APNs file and remember the Key-ID. NOTE: The key can only be downloaded once because the server copy is removed. Keep a backup copy of your key in a safe place. Upload the .p8 file with the appropriate key ID to Kortpress.
Once you have activated your account via the email link sent by Kortpress enter your credentials and account details. Please read through the order summary carefully and check that all your details are correct. Make sure you have checked the boxed stating you have read the terms and conditions and select create.
The product overview screen shows a list of products purchased from letsDev. On the left you will have a menu to navigate between ‘Products’ and ‘Invoices’ and on the top right of the screen is a profile drop down menu which allows you to view your profile and log out. Selecting 'Invoices' in the left menu displays all invoices connected to your account. Here you can edit your billing details and also filter through invoices. Navigate back to Products then select Kortpress to begin.
You will be shown an overview of your tariff, the current consumption and composition of your service and the generated account number and contract number now linked to your account. The Current consumption is your monthly costs and this also shows how many objects are active and how many transaction have occurred for the current month.
Composition shows the costs connect to the current tariff. The composition clearly shows the basic monthly costs and the cost per unit of additional passes and updates. There is also an amount column to show how many of these has occurred. You can also change your pass consumption tariff by selecting the 'Change Tariff' button.
When you select the Change Tariff button a pop-up window appears showing our recommended tariff selection. There are three different options here, however selecting 'Show all tariffs' from the bottom right corner gives you a more concise overview of our offer. Across the top of the table shows how many passes per month you will consume with the 'Flex' option meaning you simply pay per pass with no set pass tariff.
Set up the desired tariff or simply select back to return to the Kortpress consumption page.
To begin setup for pass creation select the 'For Kortpress' button to enter the Kortpress Dashboard.
The Kortpress Dashboard is the home page for Kortpress. The black Navigationbar located at the top of the page allows you navigate to pages and applications outside of Kortpress. The first icon on the left with the three by three squares is a link to the Kortpress Api. Selecting the Kortpress icon or name allows you to navigate back to the the letsDev Control Center and the profile icon on the far right allows you to access the Webservice Tokens and to logout.
The Navigationbar to navigate Kortpress has 5 options Dashboard, My Templates, My Passes, Data Management and My Transactions. Each icon/link is described in depth later and there is direct links to each in the navigation menu. Below the 'Dashboard' title there are active counts for Created Passes, Created Templates and Active Passes and also filtered counts for the specific type of passes Google, Apple and PDF passes.
Now that we have had a brief look around Kortpress it is now time to implement your credentials to start creating! We recommend you set up your Data Management credentials first to assist with your setup.
